April is almost gone!
I was surprised that I'd not posted for an entire month! Where has April gone to anyway? I won't catch you up on all of April, but will focus on the week or so around April 14th, when I turned 60! -- I put this up on my Facebook page, as I thanked over 100 people for their very sweet greetings:
I will "show and tell" you some of the blessings of my birthday.That weekend, we went to see our granddaughter Tristen perform her karate for a test, in which she went from a white belt to an orange belt. Below are a few of the many pictures taken by me (the one is with her proud mama).
After that, we went out to eat at Max and Erma's Restaurant, and I was given a lovely gift -- a collage frame filled with pictures of the grandchildren! This photo doesn't do it justice, but it will give you an idea of the gift.
Afterwards we went to their home with them and had a nice visit, and fun watching Tristen and Brogan being themselves.

Oh my goodness, how did I miss your 60th birthday! Looks like it was a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by and visiting my site again. Yes, life gets so busy! I have five grandchildren and two on the way. My oldest son and his wife just had their second (a boy) on April 17, and my second son and his wife are due with their fourth child, the first girl after three boys! And my daughter and her husband are due with a girl. Actually Heather and Erin are due on the same day, September 28, with girls! That should be fun! We are flying to Virginia on Sunday to visit our new little grandson. We are looking forward to seeing them. Hope you have a wonderful day!
