I hope you enjoyed your St. Paddy Day... and even if you don't celebrate
it in any way, more importantly, I hope you had a very blessed Lord's Day.
I thought I'd share a few pictures today. The first collage is from our
previous week when we celebrated the "wearing of the green."

The next 2 collages = update on what our two grandchildren look like now.

1. Tristen's Daddy finally got to take her to a Dad/Daughter Dance at her school.
(Home from deployment; First two times of Dad/Daughter Dances, he was deployed).
2. Father and son walking to favorite pizza restaurant in their town.
Right after he returned to U.S., we celebrated the two kids' birthdays
here on two separate days.

Christmas 2012 Memories. This was the last time we saw them.
We look forward to seeing them soon, hopefully. (One reason I look
forward to retirement!)
We went to visit my mom in Illinois, both at Thanksgiving (and then to
totally surprise her
) on Christmas evening. Our family was always
about Charles Schultz's Peanut's gang, especially at Christmas.
1. The first collage shows the few decorations at our home;
2. the second shows Mom's. There is a similar theme -- the true meaning
of Christmas, and our Peanut's and Dad memoirs.
3. The third collage shows our surprise visit at Christmas. We took her our
poinsettia to enjoy and keep. The others in the photos are our niece Suzi
(my sister Ruth's daughter), and her husband and three children.

I'll end this posting with a great Bible verse promise that I put up recently on my Facebook:

This is it for now, but I'll be checking in with my friends.
Hugs, blessings, and prayers .....
Carolyn
