I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter, and that the message of Easter is real to everyone.
  Saturday, I had a special day with my friend Tess. She and I consider each other as sisters.  We started out our day with having a yummy Chinese meal, then headed to an Oriental grocery store to purchase some items we needed, and then before heading home, we went to our Christian book store, where we saw some of our other friends from church. Of course I had to purchase one of my favorite coffee drinks: Almond Joy!    
I've met so many wonderful people here on Xanga since I began blogging back on Nov., 2005. Many I have continued to keep up with on Facebook, and a few more I have talked to by phone, and a few more, I've also had the privilege of meeting in person.I thought I would introduce you to a beautiful young woman who recently got married, and who will be visiting with Tess and me this week (April 1-4)! They were married in the Philippines, but Joe had set it up so people around the world (whom he invited to watch it) could "be right there" at the wedding!! It was special to hear them say their vows, and see the venue, etc. (There were problems with the video portion.) Here is a picture I swiped from FB.
