Patis on guava, I have not tried that, but that sound good. :-) Have you tried the fruit- Atis, that's so good, too. I love duhat and lanzones, too. They were out of season when we visited. We have so many exotic fruits in P.I. that I have not seen here in the U.S. The young buko, hmmm it's so delicious. I was able to buy frozen buko here in the Pinoy Store in Houston. Thank goodness for the ingredients for halo halo that I can buy here, it kinda satisfies my cravings for some fruits in P.I. I miss the Santol, have you tried those. It's kinda sour but good. We also have the best corn on the cob---hmmm. I miss those. Have you tried Taho? Somehow, San Diego pinoy stores can whip those. Those are good.Friday, November 24, 2006 How to make Taho. "The taho is a typical Filipino delicacy wherein the usual "manong"(male vendor) carries two bucket-like container with a bamboo stick to balance it at his shoulders. Every morning you would always hear a man shouting from the streets "Tahooo!" t

rycbc: hahahahaha ... naughty Carolyn!! Your comment was great...Not my Carolyn .... and I liked the one the other day about those pesky mosquitoes.... you'll get that sucker and one for grandpa too. hahaha ... I had an excellent nap yesterday. Dalip was home by 1 PM ... we played our game of Skipbo, then I suggested he take a nap. So, he laid down on the couch and I got comfortable in my recliner -- had the news on and we went out into lalaland. Must have slept a good hour and a half each. Then we went to Applebees for dinner/supper. Had a very nice evening -- and a very good night's rest. Tonite we go to a niece's 16th birhday party at an Indian restaurant. We'll get to see Anju & Jerico there. Eric has been in Boston for the week, coming home on Monday. Have a good day, My Twin!!! LOVE YOU! ~Carolyn

Ur Tagalog sounds cute... pero ok naman. I will try to speak to you in Tagalog so u won't lose it. let me know if you don't understand. Tuwang tuwa ako sa mga sinabi mo sa experiences mo at ang mga natutunan mo. I met few Americans here na marunong ding magtagalog. Na-shock ako at first. Pero happy ako na nagtry sila na magtagalog. About the food, amaze ako na even yong mga dessert alam mo rin lutuin. Talo mo ako--I can't make bibingka by sctratch. I love that *yakap* lingo you've learned...

wow! I've read your profile, especially your adventures in P.I. You must be there during Marshall law, Marcos time? correct me if I'm wrong. :-) When I was there, I did not realize the presence of Christian missionaries. I was also oblivious of Christians here in the U.S., until I've had my own revelation when Jesus manifested in my life 5 years ago when we were still in San Diego, Cali. It changed my life, it was the best things that ever happened to me. :-) sabi ni Cindy marunong ka raw magsalita ng Tagalog. :-)

    Booo!! LOLL!! wake up woman!
  • Good_Shepherd
I appreciate your comments I am amazed at how much you have traveled. I am surprised a MK would go so many places...unless some sort of ambassador for missionaries? or a paticular cause? or from very personally wealthy family resources. I am somewhat paralyzed by my lack of education and fear of the evil in the world....my small town mentality. I feel upset driving through a city lol

I just saw your comment!! Yessiree you are my TSCJJ... I have a lot of their cd's. The first one I ever bought was in 2000 when my neighbor passed away. It's too long of a story, but she had no one else. So one evening, I went to our Bible bookstore looking around for some music to have played at her little service I was planning. I saw the Homecoming ones and then I came across one that had sitting at the feet of jesus. that was it......... i memorized playing that song when i was like 14 years old... since i've come across so many clips on you tube, i think i would like to get their dvd's also. i'd be in heaven working like you are and having this music on. heaven on eart......... i got a phone call and i'm typing this with one hand. love you ~carolyn
