She & Mike really enjoy teasing each other!
A lovely poem! And smart grandchildren must have inherited your smarts!!
Thanks, Val. I'm glad you liked my poem.
Thankfully, the grandchildren got the
smart genes from all 4 sources of grandparents!
So cute about your granddaughter and the metaphor. Yes, children can be very sharp minded. So fun to see and enjoy.
Glad you are feeling better.

Absolutely adorable. The photo too.
Thank you, John. I'm not great with selfies myself, but
my granddaughter is pretty practiced at it & does a good job.

Thank you too, for your good healing thoughts!
You are such a beautiful lady! Love that picture, and the metaphor! Out of the mouths of babes!
Thank you, Zakiah, for your kind words.
Yes, there is much to be learned from the little ones! ♥
yours is sweet about heaven.
have you read that book about heaven is real? or seen the movie?
yes, I got all the staples out and my foot is still swollen but it's slowly gone down to the lower half now but when hubby straps the velco on the brace in the morning he patted my foot and I said,"ouch" he said,"I'm sorry."
RYC on "Home Town" --- Thanks. Yes, I read the book "Heaven Is for Real" & it was excellent. I didn't know that it had
been made into a movie until just now ... I saw it promo'd on T.V.; Have you seen it?
Ouch! I hurt for you with having him pat the foot!
ps he said my toes will be little sausages for several more weeks.
It does take time for the edematous toes/ankles/feet to get back to normal.
One day you will have your slender toes back again!
Ha! Tristen is smart! And beautiful!
