MISCELLANY
I. Two of My Photos from This Past Weekend
Saturday, Mike and I went to this play - "The Curious Savage" (by John Patrick) - at Emmanuel Christian Academy. Two gals - seniors in high school -- from our church were in the play - who along with the other actors did a fantastic job!
We didn't have nearly the bad weather that was being predicted, but these are some pictures that I got from Saturday night through Sunday's snowfall.
II. Three "Just for Fun" pictures.
This first one is dedicated to Rusty and his man Frank.
Warning! This is what will happen if we cut down too many trees!
A little humor for my medical friends! And another for my friends who are musicians, baseball players, love a little to drink, or just enjoy the humor.

III. Two Pics of the Younger Two Grandkids
(Thanks to their mom.)
Brogan got caught hiding behind the island in the kitchen, eating out of the Nutella jar (for a 2nd time)!
Her mom made the flower on her headband. Can you tell she's "under the weather" with runny eyes, nose, & an earache.
Poor baby.IV. Two Original Items
An original poem by me, and a Bible quote that I put on a picture that I took and then with which I "played with effects."

Trifecta Challenge – Worm
I have never done this before, and it looks like fun, so I wrote a trifecta this morning. This was the word: WORM (transitive verb). This is the page with the definition, the rules, and the challenge for each trifecta.
I have a secret,
I know it so well!
A very special secret,
But I’ll never tell!
What? You think you know?
You’re saying, “Wait you’ll see!”
You’ll NOT worm it from me!

cute dog pic!
It made me smile, too.
Hehe! The nutella sneak is too funny - I remember son#2 hiding behind the sofa and eating prunes... we all suffered from that little episode!
OMG .... I guess that you all did suffer from that one!!
But I must
I don't remember either of my sons eating on the sly (not
saying that they didn't, you understand)!
say that I get a big "kick" out of Brogan's antics!
Brogan has good taste. I sometimes sneak a spoonful of NUtella too (when we have it in the house. It doesn't last long. Poor little bby girl. She looks like she doesn't feel good. The dog picture is hilarious. I had seen the pig cartoon before, and laughed at it. I like corny jokes. I will pray that verse for my daughter, and a grandson today. Both of them have decisions to make, and I just want them to follow the Lord.
that is a cute ribbon for her head.
the dog photo reminds me of the bike race that they have every July in our town and the line to the portapotty
Her Mom is so clever.
And yes, similar to the line to the portapotty at our summer arts festival.
ps my son just told me yesterday that the nutella was just like the tub of frosting for cake.
You know what, Jill ... I hadn't thought about that, but Nutella would work perfectly for frosting on a cake... it's very spreadable. I had a little on a cracker today. It is easier to spread thinly than regular icing, too.
Mrs. Elsie and Elmer her hubby are cute aren't they.
Definitely! They'd be a great addition to a kitchen ... especially to a country-deco-kitchen!
Beautiful fun photos!

Ha on the dog line for Frank!
Ha on Brogan finding the Nutella!
Your grandbabies are so precious!
Thanks for the smiles and laughs, Carolyn #1!
HUGS and ♥ on a Wednesday!!!
Glad you enjoyed them, most special Carolyn (#1, in my book)!
I'm kind of partial to my grandbabies... thanks. ♥
HUGS and LOVE for your Wed. night and Thursday, too! ♥
My little Andrew loves Nutella on slices of bread. Hope your granddaughter starts feeling good soon.
Andrew has good taste, too!
Thank you for your wishes.
Hugs. ♥ ♥
did I mention that that dog line is like the line before the bike race in our town at the port a potty
it was so long and I took a photo and it was funny but I can't find it now.
Catcher is starting to grow on my sister now. I was just surprised and I said someone on Xanga told me their grandson was Captain. LOL
Yes I always say, that poor kid but they can always change it when they grow up and stick it to their middle name like I did. Jill Carmel -I never felt like Mount Carmel and when Waco happened and we're an hour away I decided to change it legally. only cost $300 back then.
So are you saying that "Carmel" was your first name, and you switched it with "Jill" which was your middle name?
I'll bet it was funny to see that line before the bike race. If you do find that photo, it would be a fun one to put on your blog.
Oh the dog line up is too funny. I wonder how long it took to line up all those dogs?
Yes, I need that last prayer, always!
Hope you have a great week-end too.
PS - Hope I don't get cured like that!!
They must have had some sort of trick to get them all lined up like that!
Definitely don't want to be cured that way!
those pink blossoms are now fried since it got down in the teens and froze them.
They call it fried here on the weather channel.
I've been in the bookclub at our library and one in Burleson where my antique mall is. It's 15miles from my house but ours in town is about 2 miles. I've been staying with it but the people and leaders change. For a long time it was just myself and Barb and then we decided to call it quiets. I could just be in a club with one other person when it comes to books.
I guess that means you are staying with the one near the antique mall is then.
(If I understood you correctly, the one that is no more is the one in your town.)
I could see having great discussions with just one other person committed to reading
and attending.
these decorating shows have mirrors like that for like $200 so I can't go wrong with $30
Hey, you're a little peeping tom.
sent me a photo that was on Craig's list or ebay and a fellow was taking a photo of his dining room set, right? what is wrong with this photo? I laughed so hard cause you could see the fellow in the mirror nude.
OMG! I'd have died! I wonder if he was actually trying to sell more than his dining room set! :-0
LOL it was flaccid so I don't think so. He was just naked and wanting to sell it. LOL
Lisa isn't my little sister but I call her that sometimes but then I call her KXOL,too.
that's a radio station her cause sometimes broadcast stuff but I do, too.
Once I put a photo of her up and she was upset and sent me a letter in the mail. My hubby said,"she's pissed." She thinks something bad will happen to her if she is on the internet. She looks like a younger Martha Steward and is 9 years younger then I am.
We share the booth.
