I just came from Val's site, where she wrote another poem and explained it thus: "A cascade poem is where each line in the first stanza becomes the last lines in the following stanzas. There is no requirement for rhyme or meter. The stanzas would look like:
ABC deA fgB hiC."
Today was a great day for teaching, worship, singing, listening, praying, fellowship, and enjoying a meal together with others in a smaller group. At home it was also a good day to rest, have family time, etc.
Here is my cascade poem, and the theme was not just based upon our day at church today, but every day in which worship is a part.

Have a wonderful week.
I'll be around to visit your sites now.

I'm so happy you had such a lovely Sunday!
hiC! Ha! You said "hiC" in your explanation of a cascade poem, so I wanted to say "hi" back to you, #1C!
Your cascade poem beautiful! And every day with God should be a day of all of those things you wrote about!
Love and HUGS!!!
From The Other Carolyn!
hiC ... that was great! I didn't catch it immediately, and then I did. "HI, C"!
Glad you liked my little cascade. Yes, I agree that every day should be that way.
Hope you had a wonderful Sunday, too. Love and hugs! ♥ ♥ ♥
Nicely done! And so true - so often we spend our time in prayer doing all the talking, it is a wonder God gets a word in edgewise!
Thanks, Val!
I agree with you!
Sometimes the "listening" is a challenge!
Good Morning, Carolyn. Loved your cascading poem.
We did not make it to church, so listened to TV preacher David Jeremiah. He taught on Rewards.

Thanks, Frank. Hope you are having a really good day.
Mom listens on the radio to David Jeremiah almost every evening.
It is nice to be able to hear good preaching at home when one doesn't get out.
We've missed lots of church this winter due mainly to the bad weather, but
we had decent weather yesterday, so all three of us made it to church!
Hope your week is wonderful too! I should write a poem about Cold, COld, CoLdER!
Thanks, Miriam... you, too!
I like your poems. I'm sure
that if the COLD is inspiring
you, ... you can write it!
that is good for everyday
Yes, I agree!
thankyou for the compliment but I don't feel like a good granny when I have to tell him to settle down. He gets so wild sometimes. I told my son that while they were gone I had to get out my handcuffs. Reece started to get too wild and I can hold both his wrist in one of my hands.
You are welcome, Jill. Children have to be constrained at times.
You're just being a good Granny when you help him to control himself.
Reece sounds like he is a pretty active little guy! ♥ ♥
Happy Happy Monday!

Hope it's a Fun-Day!
I'd leave a pun
If I could think of one!
Since I can not
I'll leave a thought:
God loves you
And I do, too!
I hope this silly little ditty
Makes you think I'm witty
Makes you smile, makes you laugh
Now I gotta' go feed my giraffe!
HUGS!!!
PS...I don't really have a giraffe...but I needed a rhyming word!
Neat, Carolyn! You are so amazing.
Thanks, Zakiah... but then look who is talking. YOU are amazing! Love you! ♥ ♥
