SUNSHINE :-)
How pleasant to see the sunshine today! I'm staying indoors, but popped my head out of the front door so that I could take some pictures! Can you see the footprints of our mailman across the snow from our neighbor's house, up the side of our porch, and up to the door? The sky has been so blue today, and the bluish shadows show that, too. I did take a picture of outside as seen through the lace curtains of our kitchen window. Sunshine just makes the whole day seem better!
I wanted to also pass along a great quote that I found on one of my friend's Facebook pages.... AND a little bit of humor I found on Pinterest. I hope you all have a sunny next few days!

Love the snow pics. Houston may even see a few flakes tonight.
Wonder if you will have BIG FLAKES! Take pictures of your snow to show off on FB, ok, Cindy.
hey, that is cute.
snow is pretty but I bet it would get old, too.
I like the lace curtain
The snow DEFINITELY is already old... especially, the sub-zero weather has gotten old! Thanks... I love lace!
"12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:12-13
Yes! Someday we will know fully. Until then we trust fully in God and His promises!
Wow. Sunshine on snow is always So Bright.
I've not even poked my head out today, it's so cold, but I imagine I will be going to the mailbox at some point. Bundle up, run, come in and take a hot shower.
Brrr.... Mom just mentioned (yest. or today) how blessed we are to have our mailbox attached to the front of our house so that we can just poke our head out to place our mail out, or to retrieve it! Stay warm!
Thanks for coming by. I love this quote and have giggled a lot over the sign. I sure am glad I don't live where you are. I've been saying that to a lot of people today.
Hugs and smiles, Char
You're welcome, Char. Thank you for letting me be your newest Xanga friend. You deserve to have a warm place to live after where you lived for the first half of your life!
Carolyn
I return hugs and smiles to you.
Those are beautiful photos and great graphics. We spent 20 years in snow land. lol
Yes, the secrets will be out there in heaven-ours and God's. lol
blessings
frank
Thanks, Frank. Where did you live in "snowland"?
For your sake, I'm happy that you now live in
"sunny-land" - it sure does beat the single &
below-zero temperatures here!
Lovely pictures. And yes I can see the footprints on the snow.
Thanks. From what I hear from family members back in IL, you are having much of the same sort of weather there that we are experiencing here.
Blue, white and light : a dream, Carolyn! I believe I prefer this to my rain drops on my window!!:-)
I agree with the quote
Love
Michel
You are very poetic, Michel!
The snow is very pretty, but
then you showed the beauty of
the rain drops on your window,
as well!
We had sunshine yesterday ... so much brighter with snow on the ground, too! Mailmen are brave souls to venture out in these freezing temps... but the mail must go on!! I also like that quote ... we base our faith on God's promises ... for indeed, faithful is He Who promised!! As for the Hokey Pokey ... I'm in rehab!! lol!!
Have a beautiful week, my friend!
P.S. I also left you another comment in response to your reply in your January 26th post!
I hope you are staying warm. Have a beautiful week, too! I'm heading to your last comment now.
